El Taco Luchador in Louisville

Always good food, would be nice if they had some large bottles of hand sanitizer like most restaurants do in today’s crazy times.

You had me at the wrestling masks. The food is always amazing, and it always arrives very quickly after ordering.

The food was awesome. I got the Torta and it was 2 meals. The Green Jalapeno sauce is awesome.

Each time you come here, it feels like your stomach becomes a true Luchador in the ring💪Combating the different types of food to Devour and take down in the match.Tagging out just to cool off with a beverage and tagging back in for a few more rounds of pure stimulation 🤤You'll be the number 1 winner each time you come to this location.

Its amazing the best taco place ever

Honestly this place gets 5 stars just for the queso. So delicious. The tacos were food too and the customer service was great. Very cute restaurant. I didn't snap a picture but they have cute little patios to eat on that are super Instagram friendly.

Delicious! If you like tacos, Taco Luchador is a great choice. The tacos are tasty, the salsa bar is really really, and the service and staff are what they should be. The restaurant itself is a visual delight. I would definitely eat here again.

It's hard to eat here if you are on low carb, but the kitchen helped me find something i could eat! The food was great! You walk in and order at the counter and then a server brings you your food. Would recommend to a friend!

Some of the tacos are good. The al pastor was soggy and chewy, I've gotten the Baja fish undercooked several times. Curbside is unreliable if theyre busy. We've been burned too many times at this location. Overall just disappointing because they were so much better before the renovation.

Taco luchador was absolutely delicious! I got barbacoa (I believe), al pastor, mole and the fish taco. I have no complaints about any of them! Also their watermelon margarita was sooooooo good, it had a little bit of spice to it and that took it the extra mile. The torta ahogada was good but it wasn't my favorite. This is a great place for tacos and margaritas!

A lot of nice taco options and drink options as well. Very cool, hip atmosphere with a beautiful outside area to sit and eat at. My partner and I really enjoyed the spot and had a couple of margaritas.Good chips, great location, awesomeness spot to have a gathering or just a casual lunch get-together. Very nice. Excited to go back.

I’ve been to both locations of Taco Luchador a few times. Overall I’ve found the Bardstown Rd location to provide better food and consistency, but still not to where I’d expect for almost $4 a taco. After trying almost every taco, I personally prefer the Chicken Tenga. When it’s made well, it definitely has the best flavor.Now where they stuggled is temperature and flavor consistency. Sometimes the meat is hot and fresh (preferred) and something it’s not and seems to have been rushed or been sitting a while. Same thing with flavor. Sometimes the meats have been seasoned or marinated well and sometimes bland. Again same thing with toppings, heavy topped vs sparsely topped. Very inconsistent. Although this last time I went everything was perfect with well cooked, flavored, and topped tacos. Things I don’t think are worth getting are the fries and the nachos. Consistently under topped and under flavored.

So many awesome options. Every item on the menu is full of flavor and plated with a great presentation. You will not be disappointed with anything you choose.

Great authentic Mexican restaurant. Atmosphere was upbeat and hip. Music was the right level with popular selections and the decor added to the atmosphere with luchador masks and pictures. Good variety of food and drink options. I had the Al Pastor taco and the Mole taco. Both were full of flavor and could easily be split into two small to average sized tacos. I also enjoyed their rum punch.Staff was friendly and were willing and able to explain the menu items and make recommendations. Great place to relax with good food. Highly recommend.

Love Taco Luchador. The food is always amazing! BUT they ARE NOT COVID 19 friendly. Outside tables were NEVER cleaned the whole time we were there with different customers. NOT COOL!

Great food. I absolutely love the sweet potato fries with the smokey pineapple sauce. Takes me back to my grandparents house with their indoor bbq grill with the flavored wood chips.

Easy take out. Can drink a Marguerite while you wait. All tacos are great!

Try the carnitas tacos! They're crispy, juicy and great smothered in the spicy arbol sauce.The staff was cheerful and the food came quickly in spite of the crowd.

They make their own sauces and everything has a great fresh taste. Don't miss the plantains appetizer. Tacos start from $4-5. Seating is indoors in the open, updated dining room themed with Mexican wrestling masks, or outdoors in the sunny patio or cafe tables along a side street. Taco Luchador hits the spot on Baxter Avenue for my taco fix!

Great place and good food. The portions of te food is not bad but the flavor is insanely good. The tacos are not that big but have a lot of flavor, but I definitely recommend the tortas.

Not a lot of vegetarian options, but the ones that they have taste out of this world. Great ambience, good service, reasonable prices and most importantly tasty food. No dedicated parking but ample street parking available around.

We absolutely love Taco Luchador. We love it even more now since their renovation is complete! There is so much more space both inside and outside, and the Taco Patio is the perfect place to enjoy the food and people watch on Bardstown Rd. The best part is their food is just as great as ever and they brought back the pico salsa👏👏👏 They've done a great job on keeping up with the demand/popularity of the restaurant and still maintaining high quality food!

Excellent food. I had the chicken taco and the veggie taco. Delicious and nice portions. One minor complaint. A fountain soda is $3. Yikes!

These are some of the best tacos in Louisville! The service was fast and friendly. The tacos had great flavor and portion size. Unless you really like mole sauce I would skip the mole fries.

Their tacos are amazing. I don't know how else to describe them. They seem small at first, but it's filling.

Came here today for the fish tacos, but they were out. I went with the barbacoa and al pastor tacos. Delicious! All their tacos are great!

I've been going here for years due to the amazing food and awesome and friendly workers. Please require customers to wear masks when coming inside to order or pick up food so your employees aren't so exposed. I understand people can't wear masks while eating, but they absolutely can while ordering/picking up in such a tight space. If they don't have a mask, take a phone order, or bring the food outside to them. I was in there yesterday for a pickup and nobody except myself and the employees had masks. We can do better to protect our favorite local restaurants and their workers.

Wonderful food, we thoroughly enjoyed our lunch. Good variety menu choices, but not overwhelming. Staff very pleasant and the restaurant was cheerful and clean. 2 outdoor seating areas. Only downside, as always in this area, parking is minimal or on street.

The food is delicious... Restaurant is so clean and the restroom is nice clean and very ADA friendly. We had the Desayuno and the Tinga sandwiches. We also enjoied the barbacoa, carnitas, mole, and baja fish tacos. All the flavors are on point and the portions are perfect to share! They have some awesome starters and drink sepcials and sides.
